While I was only able to see my uncle Robert and aunt Roberta during summer trips to TX, I was always grateful for the time I got to spend with them. Uncle Robert was a funny, loving, and inspirational man. I will always remember him regaling us with humorous stories from his high school days! And, though I hadn’t seen him in person for quite some time, he will always have a place in my heart and prayers. He always took the time to make everyone feel welcome and part of the family. I loved him and will miss him.

My condolences Roberta. I was a teenager back in the 80’s when I met Robert and heard his incredible testimony. I was amazed by his miraculous story. He served with enthusiasm because he believed in God’s love and mercy. He wanted everyone to know about Christ. He was a true evangelizer. I was so inspired by his brave acts of service to the Lord amid crime and in spite of his disabilities, that I still to this day, serve at our parish of Cristo Rey. I pray that all those souls he served in the community may pick up his torch and continue his legacy of service wherever they are. May his labor be fruitful, for he planted many seeds of faith, hope, and love.
May he rest in peace. Amen.
