Obituary of Olga Segura Lira

Our beloved Olga Segura Lira, age 71, was called to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, surrounded by the love of her family she passed away peacefully.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Miguel Segura and Maria Segura Trelles; her beloved step-father, Anastacio Trelles, and her sister, Maria Anita Segura.

Olga is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ascencion Lira; her children, Alejandro A. Lira, Sr. (Jessica Nicole) and Jessica Lira Sandoval (Amador, Jr.); her treasured grandchildren, Alejandro A. Lira, Jr., Esperanza M. Lira, Lorenzo M. Lira, Isabella S. Lira, and Gabriella M. Lira; great grandchildren, Alejandro Lira III, Aveighana Nepstad and Aiden Nepstad; her sister, Olivia Becerra (Raymond); brothers, Oscar Segura (Marion) and Michael Segura (Michelle), as well as numerous Godchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Serving as Pallbeares are Joe Losoya, Elias Losoya, Alejandro Lira, Jr., Gregorio Lira, Jr., Orlando Lira, Luis Lira, Ismael Montemayor, and Jesus Lira. Honorary Pallbearers are Alejandro A. Lira, III, and Amador Sandoval. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
