Blessings and condolences to the family. I met Lucia here at TCJPD over 10 years ago. She often spoke of her granddaughters, and you could tell how proud she was by the way she would light up when speaking of them. She will forever be with you and watch over you, continue to make her proud.
Ecclesiastes 3 To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Now is your time for peace and rest Lucia.

Lucia was one of the first nurses to befriend me when I transferred to TCJPD. Lucia loved her family very, very much & always spoke about them, especially about her two granddaughters. She was so proud of both of you. She is able to watch over you & be with you in your thoughts & memories of her. Rest in peace Lucia

I'm so sorry for your loss as well as mine. She was the type of person that you sometimes wanted to say who is this woman because she could be so defiant and then she would do the total opposite and you again would say who is this woman because she could be so caring. For me I took this complicated friend for who she was, a woman who loved her family (bragged about her granddaughters) and would go the end of the world to make sure they had everything they needed from which she learned from her parents. I have so many memories of us talking and taking trips together. Once Lucia got mad at her son because he told her she couldn't go on a trip after receiving an e-mail about an upcoming trip. She said "I'm going any way" and I told her "I don't know with who" and we both started laughing but we later started back on our trips. Rest in Peace my friend, no one deserves it more than you!!!!
