I worked with Lule Nunez at Travis County Election Headquarters for several years. He was a very interesting person and a lot of fun to associate with! I especially liked his sense of humor and being the interesting conversationalist he was. I used to enjoy hearing his views on various news items and events. He told me one of his favorite songs, as a trumpet player, was, “A Taste of Honey,” by the Tijuana Brass. I wish I could have heard him play that one. I was very sorry to read about his death. But my friendship with him was great during the years it lasted. May his soul Rest In Peace!
