Obituary of Joe Valdez Salinas

Our beloved Joe Valdez Salinas, age 71, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 6, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Christine Salinas; his parents, Victor Salinas and Josefa Valdez Salinas; his siblings, Belia Salinas, Benito Salinas, Sr.,  and sister-in-law Rosalinda Salinas.  

Joe is survived by his children, Joe M. Salinas, Jerald Salinas (Florenzo), Erik Salinas (Jackie), and Brandon Salinas (Elly); his grandchildren, Adelina, Eusebio, Gracie, Mateo, Alfredo; his brothers and sisters, Victor Salinas (Toni), Lupe Salinas, Abel Salinas, Norberto Salinas, Luce Salinas, Elisia Moreno (Joe Moreno), sister-in-law Bertha Salinas. 

Serving as Honorary pallbearers are Michael, Joshua, Phillip, Patrick Joseph, Luis, Matt, and Michael. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 11, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:0 0p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st St. Austin, Texas 78745.

Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st St. Austin, Texas 78745.
