Obituary of Peter Santa Ana Sr.

Our beloved Peter Santa Ana, Sr., age 85, resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 16, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rebecca and Cruz Santa Ana, Sr.; his son, Peter Santa Ana, Jr.; and his brothers and sisters.

Peter is survived by his loving wife, Rose Santa Ana; his children, Mary Santa Ana, Hector (Caroline) Santa Ana, and Mark Stanley Santa Ana; eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; his brother, Ruben Santa Ana, Sr.; numerous nieces and nephews and many other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st St. Austin, Texas 78745.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m., at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1206 E 9th St., Austin, Texas 78702.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
