Obituary of Pedro "The Godfather" Cardenoz

Pedro "The Godfather" Cardenoz, age 71 of Austin, passed away on Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 surrounded by His Family.

Born in Ottawa, Ohio, Pete was a lifelong resident of Austin and Retired from the City of Austin Public Transportation Department.

Mr. Cardenoz is survived by His Beloved Wife; Bertha Cardenoz, and their Children; Modesto "Sonny" Cardenas and wife Cindy Martinez, Rose Michelle Cardenas, John Albert Cardenas, and wife Felicia Flores, 3 Sisters; Lusia Guevera, Estella Robledo, and Susie Tijerina, 8 Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Grandchildren.

Preceded in death by Parents; Benselao and Petra (Garcia) Cardenas, 2 Sisters; Laura Trejo and Caty Barraza, 3 Brothers; Mike Cardenas, Ruben Cardenas, and Willie Cardenas.  

Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., with Liturgy and Rosary Services at 1:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas.

Services for Mr. Cardenoz will conclude at 3:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, October 11th, 2022.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
