Obituary of Hermelinda Rendon

Hermelinda Rendon, Beloved Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, age 86 of Leander, formally of Austin, was called by Our Heavenly Father on Monday, September 26th, 2022. Preceded in death by Parents; Polo and Estefana (Bocanegra) Davila.

Mrs. Rendon is survived by Her Husband of 66 years; Lorenzo Rendon, and their Children; Jose Luis Rendon and Wife Becky, Carmen Degollado, Lorenzo Rendon, Jr., and Wife Christina, Raul Rendon and Wife Monica, and Esmeralda Garcia and Husband Carlos, 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great-Grandchildren.

Visitation Services will be held on Monday, October 3rd, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home Chapel 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 4th, 2022 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas. 

Serving as Pallbearers; Patrick Garcia, Carlos Daniel Garcia, Raul Rendon, Jr., Ruben Rendon, Alex Gallardo, and Alix Frank Gallardo. Honorary Pallbearer; Natalie Garcia.

Interment Committal Services will follow in Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704.

Hermelinda Rendón, Amada Esposa, Madre y Abuela, de 86 años de edad de Leander, formalmente de Austin, fue llamada por Nuestro Padre Celestial el Lunes 26 de Septiembre de 2022.

Precedido en la muerte por los padres; Polo y Estefana (Bocanegra) Dávila. 

A la Señora Rendón le sobreviven su Marido de 66 años; Lorenzo Rendón, y sus hijos; José Luis Rendón y su esposa Becky, Carmen Degollado, Lorenzo Rendón, Jr., y su esposa Christina, Raúl Rendón y su esposa Mónica, y Esmeralda García y su esposo Carlos, 12 nietos y 17 bisnietos. 

Los Servicios de Visitación se llevarán el Lunes 3 de Octubre de 2022 en La Capilla Funebre de Mission, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas, de 5:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., con Recitación del Santo Rosario a las 7:00 p.m.

La Misa de Entierro Cristiano se celebrará a las 10:00 a.m., el Martes 4 de Octubre de 2022 en la Iglesia Católica Cristo Rey, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas.
