Obituary of Mirta Catalina Mir

Our beloved Mirta Mir, age 78, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, September 9, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Liza Roberts; her parents, Robert and Celia Mir, and her siblings, Charles Mir, Maximo Mir, and Dolores Mir Hankins.

Mirta is survived by her children, Raynaldo Mendez III and his wife, Tiffany, and Ann Rivas; her treasured grandchildren, Treylen Mendez, Yazmene Mendez, Charming Mendez, Ray Mendez IV, Brandon Roberts, and Caden Roberts; her sister Blanche Hook, as well as nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Trey Mendez, Ray Mendez IV, Brandon Roberts, Cade Roberts, Maurice Hook, and Mark Hook.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary and Scripture Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 am. on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery, 2731 Comanche St., Corpus Christi, Texas.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
