Our beloved Mother Estella Estafana Garnica, age 87, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday December 16, 1999. Survivors include: 4 Daughters; Dora Fabian, Lena Degollado, Mary Ellen Romo, all of Austin and Estella Urias of Pasadena Tx., Son; John Garnica, Jr., of Ft. Worth Tx., 2 Brothers; Paul Acosta of Austin and Frank Acosta of Grand Prairie Tx., 3 Sisters; Beatrice Reyes, Virginia Ojeda and Susie Frausto all of Corpus Christi Texas. 18 Grandchildren, 15 Great-Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her husband of 68 years John Garnica, Sr.
Recitation of rosary Friday 7:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday 10:00am at Dolores Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. John Korcsmar will officiate. Interment will follow in Capital Memorial Park Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are her Grandsons.
