Obituary of Carl Joe Reyes

Our beloved Carl Joe Reyes, age 54, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Leon Reyes.

Carl is survived by his children, Jasmine Caroline Reyes and Carl Joseph Reyes; his parents, Rosa and Tony Miranda; his treasured grandchildren, Adam Joe Angel Reyes, Alyzae Hernandez, Alianna Hernandez, and Julian Reyes; his brothers, Lawrence Reyes and Jim Miranda (Nelly); his nieces, Ashley Hernandez, Emily Miranda, and Evelyn Miranda; his nephew, Adam Reyes, and numerous other loving friends and family.

Honored Pallbearers will be Carl Reyes, Jim Miranda, Lawrence Reyes, Adam Reyes, Nick Hernandez, Tony Miranda, Raymond Vasquez, and Andrew Lopez.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
