Obituary of Ruben Haros, Sr.

Our beloved Ruben Haros, Sr., age 74, a resident of Austin, Texas, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 7, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis Haros and Reymunda Guzman Haros; his son, Ruben Haros, Jr.; his siblings, Josie Wolf, Raymond Haros, Luis Haros, Jr., Phillip Haros, Roy Haros, Rose Carnline, Maria Cavazos, and Margaret Santos.

Ruben is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Jane Haros; his children, Monique Herrera (George), and David Louis Haros; his siblings, Carlos Sr. (Carolyn), James Haros (Mary Catherine), Martin Haros (Rebecca), Yolanda Costancio (Urbano), Janie Garcia (Joe), and Oralia Rosales, numerous nieces and nephews, and many other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st. Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at David Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 2211 E. MLK, Jr.  Blvd, Austin, Texas 78702.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
