Obituary of Pauline Maria Matamoros

Pauline Maria Matamoros, 58 of Austin, passed away on Thursday, June 9th, 2022.

Preceded in death by Daughter; Christina Vargas, Granddaughter; Erica Carlos, Parents; Pedro Matamoros and Maria Felecitas Matamoros, 2 Sisters; Maria Teresa Orona, Shirley Bravos, 2 Brothers; Pedro Matamoros and Robert Matamoros.  

Pauline is survived by her Daughter; Esther Gallegos, 4 Sons; Raul Gallegos, David Gallegos, Peter Fultz, and Martin Sewell, and one Brother; Pedro Matamoros, and 6 Sisters; Sally Gonzalez, Corina Matamoros, Elsie Sanchez, Christina Matamoros, Josephine Matamoros, and Melissa Garcia. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins Nieces, and Nephews.  

Visitation Services will be held on Friday, June 24th, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. 

Services for Ms. Matamoros will conclude at 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24th, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home. 

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
