Obituary of Yolanda H. Palomino
Our Beloved Yolanda H. Palomino, age 76 of Austin, passed away on Thursday, June 9th, 2022.
Yolanda grew up in Temple, Tx and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe church where she was a member of the Guadalupanas. She loved to dance and participated in many church festivals and parades throughout central Texas. Some of her best memories were dancing with her uncle Michael Palomino. Yolanda also played the saxophone in the high school marching band and she was a majorette.
After earning a degree from Temple College, she held jobs at Ft. Hood, Texas A&M, and she retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Austin, Tx. She always reflected fondly on her co-workers and enjoyed her work. She was a dedicated employee with a strong work ethic.
Family came first for Yolanda. She always made sure that they were cared for and loved. She loved visiting, traveling, and spending quality time with all of her loved ones.
Yolanda was a kind and generous soul. She was always willing to donate or lift a helping hand for those in need. One of her favorite organizations to give to was Coats for Kids. Children held a special place in her heart.
She is preceded in death by her Son; Martin Aguirre, and Parents; Louis and Mary (Hernandez) Palomino.
Yolanda is survived by her Daughter; Ana Aguirre, Granddaughter; Daniella Aguirre, 1 Sister; Olga Rendon (Raymond), and 3 Brothers; Oscar Palomino (Mary Galvan), Guadalupe Palomino (Terri), and Albert Palomino (Rosie). She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
