Obituary of Santos Carmona Ybarra
Our beloved Santos Carmona Ybarra, age 82, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, June 6, 2022. She passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family. Santos joins her husband, Vincent Ybarra; her daughter, Norma Ann Ybarra; her parents, Zeferino and Guadalupe Carmona, and her siblings, Victoria Hernandez, Victor Carmona, Alberto Carmona, Patricia Moran, Rudy Carmona, and Ernestine Machado.
Santos is survived by her children, Rachel Gonzales (Tony), Rosemary Ybarra, Vincent Ybarra, Jr., Rita Ybarra, Christine Riffe (Bill), Joe Ybarra (Carmen), John Ybarra, Edward Ybarra (Odulia), and Veronica Coronado (Michael); her sisters, Francis Diaz and Rita Maldonado; her brother, Juan Carmona; 15 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Pallbearers will be Vincent Ray Rodriguez, Edward Ybarra, Jr., Michael Coronado, Jr., Robert Adame, Jr., Steve Hinojosa III, and Gabriel Portillo. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jeremy Coronado, Aaron Martinez, Jr., Andrew Morin, and PJ Hinojosa.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest, Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels may be restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to
help protect our community. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
