Obituary of Ruben Rocha

Our beloved Ruben Rocha, age 35, resident of Austin, Texas, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Victor Elias Rocha. 

Ruben is survived by his parents, Ricardo Rocha and Virginia Hernandez; his siblings, Eve Rocha, Eva Castaneda (Michael), Ricardo Rocha, Jr., and Robert "Bobby" Rocha (Tori); 18 nieces nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends. 

Honored Pallbearers will be Michael Castaneda, Robert "Bobby" Rocha, Richard Rocha, Jr., Raymond Hernandez, Alex Hoang, and Brianna Martinez.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at New Foundation Christian Church, 1930 Miles Ave. Austin, Texas 78745.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., at New Foundation Church, 1930 Miles Ave. Austin, Texas 78745.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
