Obituary of Richard Casarez

Our Loving Richard Casarez, age 54 of Austin, was called to be present before Our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022. 

Richard is preceded in death by His Father; Manuel Casarez, Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, and a host of Aunts and Uncles. 

Survived by His Beloved Mother; Frances V. Casarez, Siblings; Miguel Casarez and Wife Tina, Frankie Casarez and Wife Leslie, Antonia Casarez and Husband Rick Deleon, Sr., and Angelo Sabathne. Richard is also survived by His Nieces and Nephews; Valerie Castro, Alexis Garcia, and Husband Luis, JohnMichael Casarez, Cierra Casarez, Ricky DeLeon, Jr., Caleb DeLeon, Marcelino DeLeon, Aubrey Sabathne, and 2 Great-Nephews; Jaiden Garcia, Isaiah Garcia, and a host of Family and Friends.

Visitation Service will be held on Monday, May 30th, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Prayer Services at 7:00 p.m., with Pastor Abraham Lopez officiating.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 31st, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Abraham Lopez officiating.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin Texas 78704.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
