Obituary of Monica Bhaskaran

Our beloved Monica Bhaskaran, age 52, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, May 14, 2022 after a courageous battle.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jose Teodoro Hernandez Y Torres and father-in-law, Colonel N.K. Bhaskaran.

Monica is survived by her mother, Francisca Bustillos De Hernandez; her beloved husband, Suraj Bhaskaran; her sons, Avinash Bhaskaran, Abhijay Bhaskaran, and Akhil Bhaskaran; her brothers, Jesus Teodoro Hernandez Bustillos and his wife, Alma Rosa Hernandez Moreno and Jose Roberto Hernandez Bustillos and his wife, Marsela Villalobos Chavez; her mother-in-law, Presenna Bhaskaran; her sisters-in-law, Sandhya Bhaskaran and her husband, Gopalkrishnan Nair, and Swapna Bhaskaran, in addition to nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary and Scripture Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

during this very difficult time.
