Obituary of Hope Castro

Our Beloved Hope Castro, age 55 of Austin, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 12th, 2022. Hope is preceded in death by her Father; Julian B. Castro, and Brother; Julian B. Castro, Jr. 

She is survived by Children; Crystal Vera, Paul J. Vera, and Bobby Espinoza, Jr., Mother; Mary Helen Castro, Loving Companion of 12 years; Mario Mojica, 3 Sisters; Mary Ann Martinez, Julie C. Castro, Tracy L. Castro, and 8 Grandchildren. 

Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, May 19th, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78702.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 20th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas 78702.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

during this very difficult time.
