Obituary of Joe Aros, Jr.

Our Beloved Patriarch Joe Aros, Jr., age 74 of Austin, was called by Our Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 21st, 2022.

Mr. Aros is preceded in death by Parents; Jose, Sr., and Eloisa (Alvarado) Aros, Daughter; Sylvia Aros, and a Great-Grandchild.

Joe is survived by his Wife of 55 years; Susie Aros, Children; Lawrence Aros, Patricia Aros, Esther Villapando, Esmeralda Aros, Veronica Estrada, Michelle Aros, and Melinda Spencer, one Brother; Isaac Aros, 20 Grandchildren, 4 Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.  

Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas.

Interment Committal will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
