Obituary of Jose Acosta Rodriguez
Nuestro amado José Acosta Rodríguez, de 65 años, fue llamado a nuestro Padre Celestial el jueves 14 de abril de 2022. Fue precedido en la muerte por su padre Eufemio Acosta, y sus hermanos, Irineo Acosta, Francisco Acosta y Martha Acosta. José sirvió con orgullo a su país como miembro del Ejército Militar de Mexicano.
José es sobrevivido por su esposa de 41 años, Maria Dolores Acosta; Su madre, Isabel Rodriguez; Sus hijos, Laurentino Acosta (Mariela Acosta), Santiago Acosta (Arleth Acosta), Sandra Acosta (David Tovar), José Antonio Acosta (Sandra Méndez), y Fabian Acosta (Stephanie Flores); Sus hermanos, Antonia Gutiérrez (Jesús), Ernesto Acosta (Graciela), Ramon Acosta (Rosa), José Antonio Acosta (Griselda), Fernando Acosta, Veronica Noriega (Raúl), Pilar Acosta y Maria de Lourdes (Candido); 15 nietos (y dos en el camino), 5 bisnietos, y numerosos sobrinos, otras familiares y amigos amorosos.
La visitación se llevará a cabo de 9: 00-10: 30 a.m. Con recitación de Rosario Santo a partir de las 10:30 a.m. El sábado 23 de abril de 2022 en la Misión Funeraria Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
La Santa Misa de Requiém comenzará a las 12:00 p.m. El sábado 23 de abril de 2022 en la Iglesia Católica de San Francisco Javier, 9110 US-183, Austin, Texas.

Our beloved Jose Acosta Rodriguez, age 65, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, April 14, 2022. He was preceded in death by his father Eufemio Acosta, and his siblings, Irineo Acosta, Francisco Acosta, and Martha Acosta. Jose proudly served his country as a member of the Ejercito Militar de Mexicano.
Jose is survived by his wife of 41 years, Maria Dolores Acosta; his mother, Isabel Rodriguez; his children, Laurentino Acosta (Mariela Acosta), Santiago Acosta (Arleth Acosta), Sandra Acosta (David Tovar), Jose Antonio Acosta (Sandra Mendez), and Fabian Acosta (Stephanie Flores); his siblings, Antonia Gutierrez (Jesus), Ernesto Acosta (Graciela), Ramon Acosta (Rosa), Jose Antonio Acosta (Griselda), Fernando Acosta, Veronica Noriega (Raul), Pilar Acosta, and Maria de Lourdes (Candido); 15 grandchildren (and two on the way), 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:30 a.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church, 9110 US-183, Austin, Texas.
