Obituary of Albert Frank Jones

Our beloved Albert Frank Jones, age 85, was called to Heaven on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Elijah Albert Jones and Lillie Jones (nee Johnson).  Albert proudly serviced our country as a member of the United States Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant.  He also worked many years for Motorola.

Albert is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Jones (nee Briggs); his children, Richard B. Jones and his wife, Lisa, and Mark Jones and his wife, Kathy; his grandchildren, Amy M. Jones, and William "Billy" Jones; his siblings, Robert Kilbourne and his wife, Maxine, and Gail Anne Kilbourn, and many other loving family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, at Oak Hill United Methodist Church, 7815 Hwy 290, Austin, Texas. 

Inurnment with Military Honors will be held on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, Texas. 

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
