Obituary of Rafael Eduardo Martinez

Rafael Eduardo Martinez, age 45 of Pflugerville, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 17th, 2022. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Emilia Alicia Martinez.

Rafael is survived by his wife, Brandi Vineyard; his son, Henry Carl Martinez; his mother, Mabel Alicia Bermudez; his Father, Rafael Martinez; his sister, Cristina Thompson; his brothers, Sergio Martinez and Alberto Martinez; and his nephew and many other loving friends and family.

Visitation services will be held on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin, Texas 78702.

Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 25th, 2022 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin Texas 78702.

Services will conclude after the Funeral Mass at Cristo Rey Catholic Church.     

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
