Obituary of Santana Castro Urias, Jr.

Our beloved Santana Castro Urias, Jr., age 102, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, March 8, 2022.  He was preceded in death by his sons, Raymond Lee Urias, James Nathan Urian, and Timothy Santana Urias; the mother of his children, Cloe Bell Urias parents, Santana Urias, Sr. and Lizzie Castro Urias, and his siblings, Domingo Urias, Frank Urias, Fred Urias, Harry Urias, Christine Sandino, and Connie Martinez. 

Santana proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army and is a veteran of World War II.  As a nation, we are grateful for his service and dedication to the safety of our country.

Santana is survived by his children, David Lawrence Urias, Michael Paul Urias, John Anthony Urias, and Philip Samuel Urias; his sister, Mary Glover and her husband, Bill; 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

An Inurnment will take place at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, Texas.
