Obituary of Eva Z. Garza

Our Beloved Eva Z. Garza, age 80 of Austin, Texas, was called by Our Heavenly Father on Monday, March 7, 2022.

Eva is preceded in death by her Husband, Alfonso Gonzalez Garza; her Parents, Elijio Zertuche and Eliza Soto Zertuche; her son, Alfonso Garza, Jr.; and her daughters, Linda Galvez and Janie Garza.

She is survived by her loving children, David Garza and his wife, Stephanie, Adam Garza and his wife, Rosanna, and Lori Ann Garza and her husband, David; 16 Grandchildren; 20 Great Grandchildren; her two sisters, Angelina Cervantes and Yolanda Zertuche; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

The Garza family would like to give a special thank you to Silverado Hospice care, and to her nurses, Rosenda and Destiney for the extraordinary care they gave to their mother.

Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, March 15^th, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas 78702.

Funeral Liturgy Services will be held on Wednesday, March 16^th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home, East Cesar Chavez. Services for Mrs. Garza will conclude after the Liturgy services.

Mrs. Eva Garza's inurnment will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. at  Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S IH-35 Frontage Rd, Austin, Tx 78704.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
