Pete Morales, 79, passed away on Sunday Feb. 8, 2004 at Hospice Austin. He was born on July 8, 1924 in Georgetown, Texas.He is survived by 2 Daughters; Carolyn Sue M. Alflen of St. Ann, MO., Vicky S. Morales, Grandson; Mark A. ?Tony? Alflen both of Independence, MO., Brother; Joe Morales of Austin, Sisters; Maria Mu?oz of Round Rock, TX. and Maggie Phillips of Fenton, Ohio. Also survived by Nieces and Nephews.
Preceded in death by Mother; Vicenta Frias, Father; Rosendo Morales, Brothers; Pragedes and Jess Morales.
Mr. Morales served in the U.S. Army during WW II receiving the Purple Heart.
He had lived in Kansas City, Missourri for many years before moving to Georgetown in 1991.
Rosary 7:00pm Thursday with Liturgy service at 7:30 in the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services with Military Honors to be held on Friday 11:00am at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, Texas. Pallbearers will be Tony Alflen, Rick Morales, Richard Rodriguez, George Aguirre, Joe Mu?oz, Jesse Mu?oz and Seferino Gonzales.
