Our beloved Santos G. Salinas, age 87, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on February 4, 2004, after a short battle with cancer.He was preceded in death by his parents;2 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Anita Salinas, beloved Children; Santos Salinas Jr. and wife Angie, Shirley S. Morales, Janie Cruz and husband Lupe, Mary Rose Cavazos and husband Rick, Robert Salinas and wife Lucy, Sister; Nieves Samora, Brothers; Zaragosa and Mauricio Salinas. 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren survive him.
Recitation of Holy Rosary 7:00pm Friday at the Chapel of Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00am Saturday at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars to officiate. Committal services will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
The family extends their deepest gratitude to John Cavallaro, loving friend and neighbor, Hospice Austin for their care and assistance and Seton Staff.
Serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be his grandsons.
