Obituary of Daniel Marrero

Our beloved Daniel Marrero, age 92 of Austin, passed away on Sunday, February 6th, 2022. Preceded in death by Son; Jesus Marrero, Parents; Donicio and Emilia (Espinoza) Marrero, 1 Sister; Consuelo Marrero Garcia and 2 Brothers; Alfred Marrero and Rosendo Marrero.

Mr. Marrero is survived by His Beloved Wife of 70 years; Josephine Marrero, 2 Daughters; Mary Ann Smith and Caroline Maldonado, 4 Sons; Daniel Marrero, Jr., Tony Marrero, Gilbert Marrero, and Michael Marrero, 1 Brother; Robert Marrero. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and a host of Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.

Visitation Services will be held on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Prayer Services at 6:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home Chapel, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez, Austin Texas.

Services will conclude for Mr. Marrero at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 12th, 2022.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
