Obituary of Linda Gonzales

Our beloved Linda Gonzales, age 71, resident of Louisville, was called home to our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelina Camacho and Hilario M. Garcia; her son, Guy Gonzales, and her brother, Spike Garcia. 

Linda is survived by her husband of 54 years, Pablo Gonzales; her children, Paul Gonzales (Anna), Shannon Gonzales, Beth Thorpe (Jonathan); 16 grandchildren, Paul Gonzales III, Cali Gonzales, Phillip Peralez, Mia Williams, Josiah West, Brandon Burch, Guy Gonzales, Jr., Frankie Gonzales, Michaela Tejeda, Eddie Redmon, Angel Redmon, Jenifer Thorpe, James Thorpe, Gabriella Rodriguez, Michael Thorpe, and Jacob Thorpe; 5 great grandchildren, Maddie Burch, Owen Burch, Marcus Thorpe, Alynah Rodriguez, Layla MacNeil; her siblings, Judy Alvarez, Jane Hernandez, Sunny Garcia, and John Garcia, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m, at Mission Funeral Home Serenity, 6204 S 1st Street, Austin, Texas 78745.

Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m., at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave., Austin, Texas 78704.  Interment to follow at Cook Walden Capital Park Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
