Obituary of Hilda Maldonado Estrada Lopez

Our beloved Hilda Maldonado Estrada Lopez, age 83, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her son, Fidel "Vito" Estrada III; 2nd husband (divorced), Efraim Dominguez; 3rd husband of 15 years, Pete V. Lopez; parents, Matias and Jila Maldonado; brother, Baldomar "Baldo" Maldonado; granddaughter, Danielle Estrada; and by her in-laws, Stella Maldonado, Joe Aparicio, and Ray Sanchez.

Hilda is survived by a loving and blended family including, her children, Diana Limón (Virgil) and Daniel "Danny" Estrada (Norma); step-children, Daniel Dominguez, Debra Dominguez, Patricia (Joe) Broz, Oscar (Cecilia) Lopez, and Debra Liva; her grandchildren, Lonnie E. Limón, Christopher E. Limón (Jodi), Daniel Paul Estrada (Krista), Adam Martinez, Victoria Estrada, Stephanie Muraida,  Austin Estrada (Cristina), Stephen Estrada, Fidel Estrada IV, Celestina Estrada-Medina (John Henry), Marissa Estrada, Melissa Villegas (Danny), and Michelle Treviño (Manuel); 31 great-grandchildren; 2 great great-grandchildren; sister, Lydia Aparicio Sanchez; brother, Adolio "Lolo" Maldonado (Olaia "Elida"); 1st husband of 20 years, and father of her 3 children, Fidel Estrada, Jr.; her companion during the covid pandemic, Ralph Rivera and his son, Ralph Rivera, Jr.; as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Lonnie Limón, Christopher Limón, Daniel Paul Estrada, Adam Martinez, Austin Estrada, Stephen Estrada, and Fidel Estrada IV.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m, on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, January 31, 2022, at Sta. Julia Catholic Church, Lyons & Tillery St., Austin, Texas. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

The family of Ms. Hilda Lopez respectfully requests that all who attend the services wear a mask and practice social distancing, as older adults and those compromised will be in attendance.
