Our beloved Concepcion Hernandez, 83, of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday January 17, 2004.Mother was born March 4, 1920 in Travis County, Texas. She passed away on January 17, 2004. She is preceded in death by her parents Guadalupe and Alvina (Sustiata) Barrera, husband Carlos Hernandez, sons Leopoldo and Louis Hernandez, grandchildren Monica Renee, Leopoldo Jr., Irene and Carlos Vicente, siblings Audencio Urtado, Rosalio, Mage Barrera, and Feliz Lopez. Survivors include: Sons: Carlos Hernandez Jr. and wife Diana, Lencho Hernandez and wife Josefina, Genaro Hernandez and wife Luz, Daughters Mary EstHer Calderon and husband Alex, Rebecca Hernandez and husband Julian and Antonia Davilla and husband Juan, 28 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, Sister Louisa Flores, sister-in-laws Mercedes Nunez, Dominga Urtado and numerous nieces and nephews. Mother was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother. She raised eight children with husband Carlos. She enjoyed every minute of her employment at Wick Fowler 2-Alarm Chili, where she retired. After her retirement Mother enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing, camping and walking. The Family would like to thank the staff of Sagebrook Medical Facility with special thanks to Patsy. Recitation of rosary Monday 7:30 pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday 10:00 at St. Julia?s Catholic Church. Mngr. Lonnie Reyes to officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers and Honorary Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
