Obituary of Rosa Maria Ragsdale

Our beloved Rosa Maria Ragsdale, age 66, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 9, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Santos Ochoa and Maria Guadalupe Azaldua, and her sister, Olivia Rojas.

Rosa is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, Oscar Ihuarte Campuzano; her siblings, Paul Ochoa (Raynell), Manuel Ochoa (Margaret), Santos Ochoa, Jr. (Paula), Rene Ochoa (Sheila), Isabel Cueller (Joe), and Elvira Contreras (Samuel), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. Public services will conclude at 9:00 p.m., Wednesday.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.

Nuestra amada Rosa Maria Ragsdale, de 66 años de edad, fue llamada por nuestro Padre Celestial el domingo, 6 de enero, 2022. Ella fue precedida en la muerte por sus padres, Santos Ochoa and Maria Guadalupe Azaldua; y hermana, Olivia Rojas.

A Rosa le sobreviven su amoroso esposo de 26 años, Oscar Ihuarte Campuzano; sus hermanos y hermanas, Paul Ochoa (Raynell), Manuel Ochoa (Margaret), Santos Ochoa, Jr. (Paula), Rene Ochoa (Sheila), Isabel Cueller (Joe), y Elvira Contreras (Samuel) y numerosos sobrinos, otros familiares, y amigos. 

El velorio se realizará de 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., con un Rosario comensando a las 7:00 p.m. el miércoles, 19 de enero, 2022 en Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin,Texas. Los servicios se concluyen miércoles.
