Obituary of Danny Santos

Our beloved Danny Santos, age 54, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, January 9, 2022 after a 3 1/2 year hard fought battle against an aggressive brain cancer.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Santos, Sr.  Danny proudly served our country as a member of the United States Marines.

Danny is survived by his mother, Rachel Sanchez; his wife of 25 years, Tammy Santos; his children, Alexsandra Santos (Jacob Campa), Joseph Santos, James Santos, and Mary Santos; his siblings, Jesse Santos, Jr. and Tina Santos (David Escobar); his niece, Lauren Spaulding and nephew, Isaac Escobar; great niece, Sophia Spaulding; great nephew Sebastian Spaulding, and numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the National Brain Tumor Society or Abiding Love Lutheran Church. 

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 14, 2022 at Abiding Love Lutheran Church, 7210 Brush Country Rd., Austin, Texas.  Public services will conclude following the church service.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to
