Obituary of Monica Castillo Rosales

Our beloved Monica Castillo Rosales, age 56, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, December 19, 2021.  

Monica is survived by her children, Adrianna Rosales, Ana Rosales (Tommy Mendez Deleon), and Gabriel Rosales; her mother, Esmeralda Granado Reyes (Edward, Sr.); her grandmother, Rosie Granado Lopez; her husband, Jerry Rosales; granddaughters, December Rose Rosales and Estella Mendez Deleon; her brother, Carlos Antonio Castillo (Monica), and other loving family members and friends.

Honored pallbearers will be Gabriel Rosales, Tommy Mendez, Carlos Emiliano Castillo, Robert Moreno II, Jerry Rosales, and Cedric Whitley.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest St., Austin, Texas.  Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to
