Obituary of Chanel Gomez

Our beloved Chanel Gomez, age 44,  sunrise, September 17, 1977 and sunset, Friday, November 26, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her father, Alonzo Marshall, and her grandparents, Lawrence Alonzo Marshall and Ida Mae Marshall Brown; Pablo Gomez and Elvira Salinas Gomez.

Chanel is survived by her loving husband, David Solis; her children, Kayla Solis and Avery Solis; her mother, Lucy Gomez; her brothers, Maurice Marshall (Trunshedda), Tyrone Marshall, and Martin Sanchez Gomez, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. 

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
