Obituary of Olga Echols

Our beloved Olga A. Echols, age 72, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 26, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Salvador, Sr. and Juanita Alvarado, and her grandchildren, Ryan Daniel Longoria and Katerina Ryan Echols-Plazaola.

Olga is survived by her loving husband, Robert Daniel Echols; her children, Robert Adam Echols (Myriam Plazaola) and Illiana Erin Echols (Steven Longoria); her grandchildren, Kailey M. Echols, Kallel A. Echols, Mia R. Longoria, and Emilee N. Longoria; her siblings, Deacon Salvador Alvarado, Jr. (Grace), Juan Alvarado (Edna), and Oralia Yaremchuk (Nick) and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Flowers can be delivered starting at 9:00 a.m. Monday morning.

Visitation will be held from 4:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Scripture Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery, 24501 N. IH 35 South, Pflugerville, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
