Obituary of Virginia "Virgie" Limòn Martinez
Our beloved Virginia "Virgie" Limòn Martinez, age 77 was called home beside our Heavenly Father on Wednesday November 24, 2021. She is reunited in Christ with her first husband, Johnny S. Martinez, son, Michael Anthony Martinez, great- granddaughter, Aaliyah Renee Martinez, parents, Francisco & Aurora Limòn, brothers, Gilbert Limòn Sr., Frank Limòn Jr., Richard Limòn, sister-in-law, Bertha Limòn, nephews, Jon Carlos Limòn, Roland Limòn, Joseph Ball and her great niece, Monica Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Marco Antonio Ramirez Alvarez, children, Johnny Ray Martinez and Cynthia Martinez Giordano, her grandchildren, Destiny Marie Giordano and Jon Gabriel Martinez, her great-grandchildren, Ryan Michael Perriello, Avarey Renee Martinez, Jon Gabriel Martinez Jr., and Liliana Grace Abrego, her sister, Alice Limòn and brothers, Elias Limòn and Jesse Limòn, sister-in-laws, Bea Limòn, Christine Limòn, and Esther Martinez, her nieces, nephews and close friends that she considered family.
Virgie was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She worked for many years at Tracor until her retirement and dedicated her life to caring for her family. Virgie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She valued family so much and shared her unshakable faith in God with all of us. She was a prayer warrior for everyone she loved. If someone was in need she was always ready to help and would pray for you when you needed it. She was our angel on earth.
Virgie left a lasting love in our hearts & will be deeply missed but we are thankful she is rejoicing in heaven with all of our loved ones.
