Obituary of Delfina Rosales Romo

Our beloved Delfina Rosales Romo, age 87, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 13, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel V. Romo; her first husband, Feliberto Moncada; her children, Brian V. Romo, Mary Esther Moncada, and Susie Moncada; her four grandchildren, Cindy Baladez, Mary Jane Baladez, Mary Alice Baladez, Claudio Castilleja and Infant Girl Moncada; great grandchild, Jacob Baladez; great great grandchild, Nathaniel Sepeda Hinojosa, and several brothers and sisters, and her sister-in-law, Hope.

Del is survived by her children, Feliberto "Phil" Moncada (Carol), Juanita Bayer (David), Rosa Moncada, Vera Castilleja (Carlos Gutierrez), and Sharon Garza (Israel); her brother, Francisco "Frank" Rosales; 11 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Scripture Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 18, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
