Obituary of James "Double O" Ramirez

Our beloved James Ramirez, age 54, of Austin Texas, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carmen M. Ramirez and John E. Ramiez.

James is survived by his mother, Ellen R. Garza; his children, Zyna Marie Moreno Ramirez, Darion Ramiez Cavazos, Joseph Anthony Hernandez, and Nicasia Borrego; his grandchildren, Christopher McCullough, Domoneek Moss, Jr., and Zia Miluire; his brothers, John Anthony Ramirez (Jane), Jesse Garza, Jr. (Laura), and Ernest R. Garza (Tracy); his sisters, Lisa Ramirez Garcia (George) and JessieAnn Garza, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
