Obituary of Joel Camarillo

Our beloved Joel Camarillo, age 19, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, November 8, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his father, Joe James Camarillo and his grandmother, Inocencia Camarillo.

Joel is survived by his mother, Norma Camarillo; his sisters, Tracey Camarillo and Tiffany Camarillo (Francisco Garcia); his brothers, Joe Camarillo, Sr. and Jesse Camarillo; his grandparents, Rey and Stella Mindieta and Jesse Camarillo; his treasured nieces and nephews, Amara Ramirez, Lilliana Garcia, Frankie Garcia, Joe Camarillo, Jr., Julius Camarillo, and Mary Camarillo; and Joel's girlfriend of 5 years, Natalie Grifaldo, and numerous other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22, 2021, at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Scripture Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
