Obituary of Maria Mendoza

Our Beloved Matriarch Maria Jimenez Mendoza, 98 years of age of Austin was called to be with Our Heavenly Father on Tuesday,  November 9th, 2021. Born in Bastrop County Texas. 

She is preceded in death by Her Husband; Encarnacion Mendoza, Sr., Her Parents; Gumecindo Jimenez and Belen Garcia.

Mrs. Mendoza is survived by her Son Encarnacion "Snail" Mendoza, Jr. (Alice), Paul Delgado (Karrie), and Juan Salvador Mendoza; 10 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren; her sister, Martina Castor Jimenez, and many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation Services will be held on Tuesday, November 16th, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with the Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home-East Cesar Chavez.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 17th, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 2208 E. 2nd St., Austin, Texas. 

Committal Services will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
