Obituary of Delia Guzman

Our beloved Delia Guzman, age 74, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 7, 2021.  She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Lorenzo Guzman; her parents, Eliopoldo and Josefina Guerrero; her siblings, Eli Guerrero, Benjamin Guerrero, and Emma Macias; her brother-in-law, Porfirio, and sister-in-law, Janie Guerrero.

Delia is survived by her children, Lawrence Guzman (Seferina) and Nancy Guzman (Greg); her grandchildren, Daniella Carsarez, Cassandra Guzman, Clarissa Guzman, Angelica Penaloza (Brenda), Adrian Penaloza (Disleimys), Greg Jaimes, Jr., Jesse Jaimes (Maria), Nick Jaimes (Abby), Brianna Alonzo (Juan Carlos), Julissa Jaimes, and Jasmine Jaimes; three great grandchildren, Lexii Villarreal, Aiden Penaloza, and Alaina Jamies. In addition, Delia is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
