Obituary of Robert Rodriguez Ybarra

Our beloved Robert Rodriguez Ybarra, age 90, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, October 18, 2021.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Mary C. Ybarra and his son, Charles F. Ybarra.

Robert is survived by his children Diane (Larry) Wessels, Robert Rene (Martha) Ybarra, and Yolanda (Gary) Ybarra-Bass; grandchildren, Marlena (Miles) Gauthier, Thomas Wessels, Daniel Wessels (Kirsten), Gloria Wessels, Carlos Rene Ybarra, MariaIsabel C. Ybarra, Robert Rene Ybarra, Jr., Kristin (Daniel) Doyle, and Gary (Tammy) Bass; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary and Scripture Service beginning at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

during this very difficult time.
