Obituary of Ezekiel P. Rios
Our beloved Ezekiel P. Rios, age 85, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He was reunited with his beloved wife of 65 years, Blaza Estrada Rios. Ezekiel was also preceded in death by his parents, Catarino Rios, Sr. and Josephine Perez; his brothers, Edward Rios, Sr. and Albert Rios; his sisters, Bertha Trevino and Andrea "Sandy" Moreno; his son-in-law, Joe Hipolito, and his grandsons, Richard and Michael Hipolito.
Ezekiel is survived by his adoring children, Janie Hipolito, Sylvia Rios Medina, Ezekiel Rios Jr., and his wife Lucy, Anita Wilkerson and her husband Donald, and Martin Rios and his wife Tiffany; grandchildren, Andrew Hipolito, Mark Medina, Israel Jimenez, Valerie Hernandez, Beatrice Sanchez, George Sanchez, Derek Wilkerson, Darrin Wilkerson, Martin Rios Jr., Jonathan Rios, Michelle Rios, and Ariel Rios; 9 great grandchildren, and by his siblings, Catarino Rios, Jr. (Mary Jo), Rudy Rios, James Rios (Thelma), Carmen Ramirez (Edward), and Lucia Rios; sister-in-law, Gloria Rios, and numerous other loving family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 3:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary and Scripture Service beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas. A Private Burial will be held at a future date.

An Inurnment service will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Assumption Cemetery.
Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to
help protect our community. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
