Obituary of Marie Guadalupe Mejia

Our beloved Marie Guadalupe Mejia, age 47, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 14, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Hipolito; grandmother, Ramona Vera; grandfather, Jesse Hipolito; Aunts, Ramona Hipolito and Sarah Hipolito; ;uncle, Joe Hipolito, and her nephew, Alias Rincon.

Marie is survived by her husband, Jose Isaias Mejia;her children, Veronica Valles, Fabian Luevano, Mercedes Luevano (Paul Torres, Jr.), Luis Luevano, Sr., and Vanessa Melendez; grandchildren, Aubrey Torres, Paul Torres III, Luis Luevano, Jr., and Elijah Salazar; her brothers, Raul Valles, Jr. (Marlene), Marcelino Rincon, and Jaimes Rincon, Jr.; her sisters, Sandra Lica (Enrique), Norma Valles, Debbie Ramos (Martin), and Cresencia Ramos (Ernesto), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Services are private by invitation.  Please reach out directly to family members.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
