Our beloved Lucia G. Sanchez, age 81, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Tuesday September 9, 2003.Mrs. Sanchez was a lifelong member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, member of the Guadalupanas, Carmelitas and the Alter Society.
She is survived by her Beloved Children; Jesse Sanchez, Rachel Sanchez, Lucy Sanchez, Dolores Sanchez, Gloria Hernandez, Janie Martinez and Annie Arredondo. 21 Grandchildren and 27 Great-Grandchildren survive Mrs. Sanchez. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Antonio Sanchez, Daughter Mary Helen Sanchez, 2 Sons Ramiro (Roy) Sanchez and Jose Sanchez.
Recitation of rosary 7:30pm Thursday at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated 10:00am Friday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. J.C. Cain, OMI officiating. Committal services will follow at Santa Maria Cemetery in Pflugerville, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers are Pete Martinez, Danny Santos, Carlos Hernandez, Gilbert Hernandez, Paul Sanchez and Jesse Santos.
Honorary pallbearers are Joe-Gilbert Arredondo, Phillip Martinez and Tomas Martinez.
