Obituary of Veronica Surita Campos

Our beloved Veronica Surita Campos, age 46, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Veronica is preceded in death by her father, Anselmo Surita, and her sister, Ruth Surita. 

Veronica is survived by her husband, Serafin Campos; her children, Juan, and his spouse, Leslie, James, and his spouse, Zitlahali, Joe, and his spouse Jasmine, Julian, Anthony, Israel, Isaac, Crystal, and her spouse, Jose, Maryann, and Isabel; 13 precious grandchildren; her brothers, Adam Surita and Noel Surita; her sister, Eva Reyna; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Prayer Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

A Funeral Service will be held the following afternoon, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., also at Mission Funeral Home.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
