Obituary of Mary Frances Moreno

Our beloved Mary Frances Moreno, age 84, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, October 3, 2021.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Cipriano and Dominga Lopez, and her sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Tony Perez.

Mary is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gabino G. Moreno; her children, Roger Moreno (Joseph), Eunice Marsch (David), Gregory Moreno (Yvonne), Loretta Ann Lyles (Kevin), and Anita Gutierrez (Robert); grandchildren, Roger Moreno, Jr., Joshua Moreno, Stephen Moreno (Jaime), Ciera Tyrrell (Matt), Adam Moreno (Abby), Jacob Moreno, Rachel Nicole Lyles, Eliana Gutierrez, Mikayla Gutierrez, and Denicio Gutierrez; her siblings, Sam Lopez (Olga) and Virginia "Ginger" Hernandez (Greg); 12 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Adam Moreno, Jacob Moreno, Stephen Moreno, Josh Moreno, Jaden Moreno, and Jordan Moreno.

Visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 5909 Reicher Dr., Austin, Texas.  Burial will follow at Capital Parks Cemetery, Pflugerville, Texas.

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

We politely request the continued use of face coverings in an effort to

help protect our community.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
