Obituary of Antonio Barrientes

Please share a memory of Antonio to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Our beloved Antonio “Tony” Barrientes, was called home by Our Heavenly Father, on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at the age of 33.

Antonio is survived by his loving grandparents Dolores Torres and Jose Martinez; mother, Margaret Barrientes; siblings, Eric Barrientes and Angela Barrientes; aunts and uncles, Richard Torres, Ramiro Torres, Joanne Iruegas, Francisco Irugeas, Emiliano Martinez, Macedonia Martinez, Lucina Martinez, Miguel Martinez and Hipolito Martinez; and many other loving family members and friends.

Tony was a beautiful soul who was sent by God to us, each day he was with us was a blessing. Born to Margaret Barrientes, he was raised by his grandparents who raised him as their own. He was born very tiny, when he was brought home from the hospital they said Tony easily fit in a shoe box. Tony was born a little shorter than others but he outloved us all. He was a loving young man who had a contagious smile and caring attitude his whole life. His heart was as pure as gold. He loved his family and friends and would care for the needs of them first before his own. During most of his free time he spent hanging out with his family and friends. He loved working outdoors and had many talents from painting to home repairs, which he spent his life doing. Tony will be dearly missed and remembered by his smile and his acts of kindness.

As we give our brother Tony his resting place we want to thank all who helped with their kind words, prayers and support. We greatly appreciate it. Special thanks to Mace and Vanessa Martinez for organizing services. Ramiro Torres for the beautiful flowers. Mace, Miguel and Amanda for t-shirts. Paul and Vanessa Martinez for the opening of the grave site and Tia Margaret Montez for the grave site. Nano and Letica Martinez for funeral services. Carl Chapa, Dolores Chapa, Lucina Martinez  and Josephine Rodriguez for the bereavement meal. Angel Lopez for the mariachis.

Pallbearers: Richard Torres, Ramiro Torres, Emiliano Martinez, Miguel Martinez, Hipolito Martinez and George Lopez.

Leading the Rosary: Issac Cisneros and Maria Bentancourt.
