Our beloved Guadalupe G. Garza, 76, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, August 30, 2003.Mr. Garza was a life long resident of Austin and had a prosperous career as a barber. He retired from his second career with AISD ten years ago. Mr. Garza was active with various senior citizens centers in the South Austin area and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by, former wife of 30 years, his daughter, and two grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary will be Monday, 7:00 PM at the Mission Funeral Home. Pending Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated Tuesday, 10:00 AM, San Jose Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
